Here I have listed a few of the questions I have been asked by Brides or Grooms “To Be” about my Wedding Photography services. If you have other questions that are not listed, feel free to contact me for a chat, with no obligation.
How many photos will I receive?
I will be shooting non-stop for the whole day and I will give you as many images as I have! It does depend somewhat on the length of time I’m with you, the time of year (sunlight hours etc.) but, on average, I deliver about 300 to 400 photographs to my clients, plus the Black and White version of about half of them.
All Photographs will be provided without any watermark and I will provide both high resolution for print and low resolution for use on web (email/facebook/etc.) The Images are yours to print and share as you like, but I would require that Mercone Photography be accredited if they are being used in publications or advertising.
How long until I can see my photographs?
I usually deliver the images about 2 to 3 weeks after the Wedding. There could be a small delay for Weddings shot in high season (Summer/Christmas) but the Pictures will always be delivered within a reasonable timeframe.
How long is your service on the day?
I usually start with photos of the Bride’s preparation at a location of your choice, a couple of hours before the Ceremony, and I will stay with you until you sit down for your meal at the reception.
As an optional extra, I can also remain for “Extended Coverage” – this is an additional service where I stay to cover the Speeches, Cutting of the Cake and the First Dance. I really recommend this option if possible, as it allows the full story of the day to be documented in Photographs – the Speeches, First Dance and the party are so important to the Celebration that it is a pity not to be able to look back on the fun there.
Is it possible to see the album before it goes to print?
Definitely. I will design the Album based on your Favourite Images and provide you with a proof where you will be able to make all the changes you want. The Album will be ordered only when you are 100% satisfied.
How do I book you?
The first thing to do is to contact me using my ‘Contact’ page. Fill in the small form with your Wedding details and I will email you with my availability and details of the different packages I offer. After that, I can provisionally hold the date free of charge until you have made your decision and, once you’re happy, you can fully book the date with a deposit of €300.
Do you travel?
Yes, I Photograph Weddings Nationwide. I don’t charge travel expenses but would need to add an accommodation charge if an overnight stay is required.
Are you insured?
Yes, I have Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
